I am about to show you a method in which you can try WordPress.org for free. This is NOT a substitute for actually running a website.
This is actually what website developers and plugin developers use to create themes and plugins for WordPress.Subscribe Today
This is a great tool for anyone who is a blog coach, wanting to learn Html coding, a blogger who would like to blog offline. Or maybe you are just someone who wants to check out WordPress.org and see what it is all about!
The cool thing is you DON’T need to purchase anything (which includes hosting). You can even learn how to perform proper SEO setup for WordPress.
The reason that this is NOT an alternative to actually purchasing hosting is because this method turns your desktop into a hosting platform where you can EVEN WORK OFFLINE! How cool is that!
But, with your desktop serving as a hosting it is NOT ideal to run an actual website this way. This is just a way for you to see what everything is about before you purchase hosting (which I recommend doing for your actual website) and familiarize yourself with the WordPress.org CMS.
You will have all the access to everything that WordPress.org offers including:
- Installing plugins (online feature only)
- Access to your hosting files
- Creating blog post
- Uploading Themes
- and more…
This is a free development environment which you can do anything that you want without the worry of harming your actual website!
If you are a blogger you can use this platform to create your blog posts offline, then simply cut and paste your work to your actual blog without having to reformat anything because you wrote your blog post on the WordPress CMS.
Okay, enough talking about the benefits. Let’s see how to actually, set this up on your own desktop. This is a VERY SIMPLE PROCESS.
