My name is Todd Worley, and I’m a disabled blogger. I have been trained by one of the best internet marketing and online business consultants out there today and I’m excited to pass along my training to you!
Internet marketing and running a business online all ties into blogging and getting your blog noticed to increase traffic to your website.
I was not only lucky but blessed to come into contact with my trainer at church. I have to give him a big thanks for everything that he has done for me!
I guess for you to understand my whole story though we have to go back a few years. I am a man who became disabled at the age of 18.
I had to fight with social security for a couple of years before I was accepted to their program around the age of 20. I do have to say that I was way to young to be put on social security.
I did not have a lot of adult work experience and the minimum wage jobs that I had during my high school years did not amount to much when it came to social security and what my monthly pay out would be.
I was saddled with $441 a month. This was the most depressing realization that I have ever come to in my life. This was it. I was going to have to live on this mediocre income for the rest of my life.
Right out the gate of my adult life, I was going to have to live on an income amount that is considered below poverty for the rest of my life! I graduated high school and went to college.
I had a very difficult time in college due to my disability and I was never able to get my degree. Since then I have tried to keep my head up and have worked where and when I could.
I would get odd jobs here and there, but nothing ever panned out for me due to my disability or the nature of the job. I was lost and stuck in a rut that I could not get out of.
I had lost hope that there would ever be anything that I could do physically with my limited abilities and education. I was very depressed until I met my wife.
She was one person who put things in perspective for me. I sat and listened to her story of how her mother had died while she was young and with no father her journey through the foster care system began.
I could not believe some of the stories that my wife talked about, and the experiences that she had gone through. She is one of the strongest women I know and I feel in love with her instantly.
We were married a year later. She then gave me a son, and two beautiful daughters. Now while there is government funding for disabled people, It still puts you below poverty level.
I wanted more for my family. I wanted them to see a dad that could go to work and come home. I wanted to be an example to my kids, and felt like I was failing, not only my kids but my wife as well.
I tried to contact social security to see if there was a way that I could go back to work. There was a couple of problems with that though. One, my income was mostly supplemented.
This means that any money that I make in the real world would take away from the income that I was making now.
Then came the other realization that all my helpful government funding (Food stamps, housing, etc…) would also be cut. The only job possibilities I had was minimum wage jobs that would not support my family, and actually would take away from them.
So the realization was, I could not work because I would be making less money by working then not. I could not put my family at risk. I was once again stuck in between a rock and a hard place.
This is something that I wish the government would change about their system. They should be encouraging people to get out there and work, or go to school. It is not how the system works though.
So I was lost. Now I have always been a believer in Jesus our Lord, but it had been years since I had been to church.
I use to go to church all the time when I was in high school, but not after. I moved to Roseburg, Oregon in my late twenties.
It was time for a fresh start with my family. I loved it. The green scenery was a refreshing site.
The rivers were beautiful. I have come to love this small city and everything about it.
I felt a sense of tranquility. My dad lived here as well and introduced me to his church family.
I felt an instant connection with the church, and my Lord again. Peace had entered my heart.
I prayed to the Lord to resolve my dilemmas. I had looked on the internet for ways to make money and of course blogging kept coming up.
I read some scattered blogs here and there trying to figure out this great mystery of how to make money blogging. I was at a loss. I gave up and continued to pray.
It was about 8 months later that a friend in my church asked what I did for a living. I had to tell my sad story of being on social security disability (a story I hate to tell).
It is a depressing way to introduce yourself that usually leaves the other person asking the question “what do you do for a living?” looking for a way to get out of the conversation at that point.
My friend looked at me and said “I may have a way for you to earn a living that doesn’t kill your back.” Needless to say, I was excited!
To my surprise, the career path that he was talking about was the same thing that I had been looking into 8 months prior to having this conversation.
He had been blogging and building businesses for over 6 years and makes over 6 figures a year. The best part was, he was going to show me how to do exactly what he does. So I started my extensive training.
I went through a training course, as my friend showed me the ropes. He gave me the inside scope on how professional bloggers make a living online.
I will forever be grateful to him for taking the time to improve the quality of my life and my family’s life. He gave me something that I could only dream of. A chance for financial independence.
I truly believe that God had put him in my path for a reason. I am truly blessed! Now I want to help others and pay it forward. I believe one good blessing deserves another.
That is why I want to help people start there business or blog online and teach them how to earn an income from their website.
I will do everything in my power to make sure that you achieve the success online that you are looking for. I will be more than a blogging coach for you, I will be your friend.
My name is Todd Worley, and I’m here to help train and guide you on how to make money online.
